Chalet Abbaye                         follow us on facebook
Hi, we're Kate and Dave, welcome to Chalet Abbaye.
Thirteen years ago we moved to the French Alps with the dream of converting our battered old farmhouse into a home for us and a beautiful chalet for guests.
Still living the dream, we welcome guests in Chalet Abbaye with the same enthusiasm as when we first opened our doors for business. Though the chalet is completely separate from our living space, our front door is just
around the corner and we are always happy to help with the smooth running of your holiday.

We are based in the friendly village of St Jean d’Aulps which is near the well renowned ski resort Morzine. From Chalet Abbaye you can ski in our local ski area, La Grande Terche which is a 5 minute drive away. Alteratively you can explore the enormous Portes du Soleil network which can be accessed from Morzine or Ardent, 15 minutes in the car. Les Gets is 5 minutes past Morzine.

The Chalet sleeps nine people very comfortably and has everything you need for a perfect stay including a hot tub on the terrace allowing you to enjoy the mountain views. Click on the video for a quick tour.

Chalet Abbaye is rented as self catered although we can organise breakfast deliveries from the local boulangerie and provide afternoon tea. We provide a meet and greet service and leave you a bundle of goodies in the chalet to start off your holiday.

There are dozens of things to do in the area throughout the year. We've gathered some information about the main
Winter and Summer activities as a starting point for exploring.
